Instead of focusing on a specific song or album, I'm going to be talking about the artist known as Blueface. Honestly, who hasn't been talking about Blueface these days. The American rapper blew up on media in October of 2018 for a song that he rapped really off-beat to. He became a whole meme and that's exactly how the media made him famous. Personally, I don't like Blueface because he's often compared to Tekashi 6ix9ine, and to me that's real disrespectful towards Tekashi. This man is really being praised because of his off-beat rapping. Sure a lot of people are attracted to his looks, but as a society are we really going to hype a man that's literally known for his bad rapping? I mean, I'm not going to lie, he makes some bops; like that song Thotiana? I listen to it more for humor purposes than actually enjoying it. I think a lot of people actually just listens to it because it's such a meme and it's made fun of. So the real question is, does society actually like Blueface or do they just hype him up because he's the joke of the year?
